Our history

The Domaine de Terrebrune vineyard has been created in 1986 gathring the skills of Patrice Laurendeau in charge of the commercialisation and Alain Bouleau in charge of the vine. Celebrating soon its 35^th anniversary, the Domaine continued its expansion to reach today 55 ha of grapevines classified in AOC. Since 2013 Nicolas Bouleau has joined the adventure and he his now in charge of the Domaine. Domaine de Terrebrune has acquired state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, making this area an innovative vineyard, with a cellar equipped with the latest technologies and a cultivation method in line with its environment. Nicolas Bouleau carries on the expertise to keep on maintaining the typicity of the wines.

 It is in Notre-Dame-d’Allençon in Anjou, in the heart of the Loire Valley, World Heritage of UNESCO, 20 kilometers southwest of Angers, that the Domaine de Terrebrune is situated. The Anjou Vineyard, in the south of the Loire river, is particularly remarkable for the diversity of its terroirs and its appellations AOC (Controlled Designation of Origin).  From a geological point of view, it is located at the junction of the sedimentary Paris Basin (former geological sea) characterized by white and friable rocks and the Volcanic Armorican Massif.  The Region structure is revealing, with the white limestone tufa tones mingling with black schist stones.

 We use six grape varieties different and well developed in Anjou : Chenin, Chardonnay, Grolleau, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gamay. These grape varieties expresses perfectly their typicity and allow us to produce 11 AOC wines : rose d'anjou, rose de loire, cabernet d'anjou, cremant de loire rose, anjou blanc sec, coteaux du layon, coteaux de l’aubance, bonnezeaux, cremant de loire, anjou rouge, anjou villages, anjou villages brissac.

Our production on a 55 hectares vineyard, represents approximately 3000 hl for approximately 400 000 bottles (65% rosé, 15% red and 20% white). We produce and sell all our volumes ourselves for almost 90% in bottles, and 10% cubis 10 liters and 3 liters bags.
